The Girl who wanted to know God

If you really want to know, I guess what I've been doing is working out when I started to go looking, how it happened that I became separated in the first place, and if I was ever to make my way back there. These first couple of stories that I have just let happen upon the page let me know that at one time I wasn't looking, because I wasn't lost. I was right there smack bang in it.

But I don't want to make a sorry state of it all by looking back and asking where it all went wrong. To tell the truth, I got separated long before I remember much about anything. And from this great distance, I can almost see that the conclusion is that I never went anywhere in the first place. Although, that's getting ahead of myself.

My mother raised me in a certain kind of way, as all our mothers do, but at some point in time the search became mine and mine alone. And it's going on even this minute, although I feel like I might be getting closer, which is to say, making some sense out of it, not necessarily knowing. And what is it I'm so keen to find. God. This is the story of how it goes.

You are not who you think you are

You are an individualised expression of the Divine Consciousness. You receive and project Divine Consciousness in your own individual way. This freedom is your birthright. No matter on what you choose to focus your expression of the Divine (through a belief in angels, aliens, fractals, mediums, crystals, healing, meditation, yoga, music, ascended masters, parallel Universes ad infinitum) beyond all these things is the One Mind. Beyond all difference and individuality is the Unity of Divine Consciousness. This is you. This is all that there is. 

Do not hold fiercely to what you believe. Letting go is the greatest gift you have to reach this place of the One Mind. Say to yourself, 'I am not that. I am not this.'

Whenever you cling to an idea of yourself or of what you define yourself by, you create a prison of your reality. Love deeply but know that nothing is greater that the Universal Consciousness. Nothing will ever satisfy as deeply as rememberance of this. You are not even the body that graciously houses you for the duration of this life. You are a trillion times BEYOND.

The Rhythm of the Cosmos

All time is one - past, present and future. There is no separation, which if you haven't figured out by now, is the secret to the universe. All there is is the eternal NOW. What might this mean for you?

How does one live in a world where past events and future dates suddenly become null and void?

All that is and ever was and ever will be is here right now in this forever moment that will not end and cannot be erased.

All time, as the human being knows it, is the greatest construct of the imagination that has ever been invented. But it is as if to follow the white rabbit down the hole - it will lead you nowhere. It is all well and good to say this, I hear you thinking, but what use is it in our own lives? How can we live without time?

Perhaps, at first, the shackles of human time may seem too big a burden to cast off, although I assure you, the day will come for everyone of you when you are no longer bound to this useless illusion. In the meantime there is much to be gained from the knowledge of true time, sacred time, divine time, which is of course to say No time. Timlessness means absolute presence. To be present body, soul and mind.

This is the moment. Not one moment amongst many, but the ONLY, SINGLE, ONE moment that ever was. This is the original heartbeat of God, the first breath, the first and only word uttered to bring the entire Cosmos into being. This is the beginning and the end, which is now, which is eternal. And in this moment all your life is manifested - you are born and you die and you are born again in THIS moment.

NOW is the eternal present, and in truth, 

you have access to the entire universe, 

the Cosmos, through the portal that is this moment. 

If I could only show you what time looks like 

when you see it as a divine being, such as I am, 

you would think it the greatest masterpiece 

of the Cosmos, and you are the designer. 

You determine the unfoldment of this 

very, only, single moment. 

It is one moment, but infinite unfoldments.

You must know now that time, as it occurs to you, is your creation, and it is far more than the clock on your wall, or the calendar on your desk. Oh, my precious children, I know I am asking much of you, but even if you doubt or do not understand, please read on. There is always some part of you that integrates the divine knowledge you receive, even if your ego-mind is unwilling to admit it.

Time, as you know it, is not.

From this moment forth, which means you have always been doing it, think of time as a magnificent picture, a painting you have created that determines everything. Time is within you and in everything - it is the music and rhythm of the universe - it is the heartbeat of the Cosmos and you ride the wave. The problem is the entirety of humanity have jumped on the wave of time through fear and limit their lives through the prism of fear - time constricts, retracts, steals, is spent, limits, there is never enough of it!

How can something that only is do any of those things?

Can you see how you have been made to believe in a false prison so that you contract your own life to a small and tiny portion of what it should be! Time is your creation. Time is your life. Time is NOW. Fear nothing. There is nothing to fear in the eternal now moment.

The key is this - live this moment.

Love this moment and no other and you
will hear the secret heartbeat of the
niverse which is true time. You will learn

the freedom so long denied you.

This is my gift my children. 

I ask that you think upon it, 

even if it seems all wrong. 

It is the greatest illusion of 

humanity and will necessarily 

take some getting used to. 

But behind these words lies

the greatest freedom, the key 

that unlocks the treasure chest 

of humanity, all the glory that is

Aha!

Beneath the hard, ego-driven exterior resides your enLIGHTened truth. Greater than any fear, sweeter than any addiction, more real than any thing you see with your eyes. Breath it into being through the temple that is your Earthly being. Bring the physical body into balance and the Soul will start to sing with gratitude and awakening.

You are the reason for all the chaos

Right now, most likely, there are at least five things in your life that feel chaotic and out of your control...

BUT... Imagine if all that stressing, fighting, anxiety, sadness, anger, rage, and victim-ness was to stop and you could stand still and really know peace and choose the life that you live, choose the energy that you draw forth towards you.

Imagine that in the very act of not moving, being still, the world around you responds to your energy. Your energy changes - the world around you changes. Do you think the energy you live in is just random, just something you happened to wander in to? Of course not. You have prepared it. You have sent it forth, you manifest it in this very moment. Every second you are generating your reality. Indeed, can’t you see?

You are fumbling through the world half blind, for in the movement and chaos of everyday life all you are generating is more of the same. Be still. Meditate. Plan your life energetically. In this we mean not to say like a take-away menu you sit down and order what you want to happen each day (although perhaps you will get there one day!). What we are suggesting, dear ones, is this. 

Your energy, the energetic web you spin, is what you live in,  it is the energy all around you, it is the energy that other people pick up on as you enter their space, that which the trees and plants and the birds and absolutely everything you interact with ‘reads’ when you approach. Now of course, just like you, most humans bump into one another energetically without a clue of what they are doing,  of what they are taking or giving. We challenge you now to wake up to yourself as an energetic being! 

You spin a web, you live that web! Do you understand? You are the creator of the reality you live, and we mean this in no abstract way. Become conscious of the web you weave. Start to see it in all your interactions, practice seeing it, feeling it, even if at first you see and feel nothing. It is something you will quickly become sensitive too. Develop this sense. It is more important than any other sense you have, for the others merely report on life. This sense determines your life! Be free of not understanding why your life is the way it is.

Ham Sa - Who am I?

Hamsa mantra: The Soham mantra is also called the Hamsa mantra. Hamsa (or hansa) poses the question, Who am I? Soham provides the answer, I am that.

I am that: While the English translation may not be as important as the quality of the sound vibration, Soham translates as I am that. When remembered repeatedly, it declares I am that I am that I am that I am. Remembering the Soham mantra often during the day can be a very useful practice.

Namaste or what is God?

The dream state rarely yields any direct messages for me, but last night, in nothing more than a few seconds of dream I had a profound message delivered without any complicated symbolism:

Sitting cross-legged opposite a woman I heard/sensed/felf the question, 'what is God?'.

The answer - the divine spark in me meets the divine spark in you.

This makes so much sense to me. The space between you and me is energised with this divine recognition, as we greet each in other in revernce.

When I relayed this dream to my mother this morning she told me that this is exactly what namaste means (which I always thought was a variation on thank you). Namaste translates and is used in several ways:

• "I honor the Spirit in you which is also in me."
• "I honor the place in you in which the entire Universe dwells, I honor the place in you which is of Love, of Integrity, of Wisdom and of Peace. When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, we are One."
• "That which is of God in me greets that which is of God in you."
• "The Divinity within me perceives and adores the Divinity within you."

 

Seeing all that is with the gaze of reverence is the what, where, when, why of God. 
God is an action.
God is an act of creation.

Just when I was thinking about this very thing, I came across it...

My Most Important Relationship Is With My Source... There is no relationship of greater importance to achieve than the relationship between you, in your physical body, right here and now, and the Soul/Source/God from which you have come. If you tend to that relationship, first and foremost, you will then, and only then, have the stable footing to proceed into other relationships. Your relationship with your own body; your relationship with money; your relationship with your parents, children, grandchildren, the people you work with, your government, your world . . . will all fall swiftly and easily into alignment once you tend to this fundamental, primary relationship first.

Nowhere

It is always there, it never goes away. Nothing you do ever changes it. Nothing you eat, say, think, feel, touch, love, neglect, ignore, punish, wound, shame, seek, desire or do touches it.

It is the mind that will make you feel separate from it and self-judgement that will keep you there.

You could meditate for weeks, or never, and still you would be just as close as your now.

You cannot own it or destroy it or have it in your hands. You can’t take it from another no matter what you do to them and no matter what they believe about themselves.

You are not waiting to get there, you cannot travel to it. You must surrender to get to this destination.

You cannot name it although you try, and you do not have to wait until you die. You are already there and you have your name on the door. It is yours. You earn no rights from anyone to be in it. You cannot lose it no matter what you do.

No matter how you try you cannot stay still there. Once you find it, you will be moved on again, to find the next level of it. For the layers are never ending and each one, although all are perfect, is better than the last.

You cannot hold onto it.

It is not waiting. It is already here. And the moment you know that, it slips on ahead of you and asks you to journey deeper.

You cannot stop and rest there. It is a seeking place and you will desire to seek it out, even though you are already and always will be there.

It is unnameable but has been named a thousand times.

It is not out of your grasp but you will be reaching always for it.

It cannot be held onto.

You are already there.

Nothing you do changes anything about your rightfulness to be there, though some things, such as your happiness will get you closer to the feeling that is always present within but often forgotten.

It is not tomorrow or far away and we are all always inhabitants of this place no matter where else we might be.

It is the eternal unnameable for it does not belong to words. It is the forever and thereafter for it has no place in time and space.

It is nowhere. It is empty. It is soundless. It is All. It is nothing but what it is now.

Lightness

Don't be afraid of the light. Do not turn your eyes away from it. You think that would be the last thing you would do - to consciously resist the light of God - but you are doing it all the time.

Why?

The light, which is your pure substance, which is you shining back at you, ILLUMINATES! 'Yes, this is what light does', you think. 'I am not afraid of it'. And yet you turn consciously, constantly away from your own divine nature, from the light within, from the love of God.

This is because you would then look upon the world in the fullness of the light, with CLEAR SIGHT! No more illusion, no more comforting distractions, no more dark corners to hide your fear and your pain away in, no more justification for hiding your divine truth.

How many times do you resist the truth because you claim you cannot see it? 'I don't know why this always happens to me', 'I don't know why my patterns are repeated, my mistakes' etc etc. You go on and on hiding form yourself, because to see in the fullness of the light would be a disaster for your little selves. Light dispels the darkness from within. No more little you, no more drawn out excuses for being less than you are.

Let go of the darkness! Crawl out from the shadows. Draw the light towards you with boldness and strength and abandon the dark corners of your mind for the love of God, which is you, which is light, which is love.

You are capable of this in an instant. You only need ask.

'God, I invite the light into every part of my life, every cell of my being, every beat of my heart. Lord God, I ask that the light illuminate my soul.'

And it is done! The veil is lifted. You see yourself as the magnificent being that you already are, no more or less than that. The miracle is clear sight, is Light.

Now is where the work begins. For that sight is easily squandered and the veil waits eagerly to return. You must have the courage to meditate upon the light, to sustain your vision, to know your truth, to behold the full beauty of you in your true state. You must live with courage and release your excuses for being less than you are. Can you do it? Can you acknowledge that you are hindered by nothing but your own unwillingness to shine at all times?

You are perfect. You are the light of God, unblemished, untarnished, whole, complete, ready now in this very instant.

Let it go.

Let the rest go and breath the light of the Lord into your being.

In so doing you are doing nothing more than breathing, in full consciousness, your own breath.

Be filled with light.

Remember who you are.

The rise of the Goddess feminism

I work with a group energy known as The Divine Sisterhood. I know that this energy is all about the Divine Feminine, but I also understand that the intention and purpose behind their devotion to the Earth right now is to bring balance and harmony. This comes about by bringing the masculine and feminine into alignment as ONE, which is the only way.

As such I haven't spent much time researching the history of Goddess worship but I found this short article today and felt to share it. I know mostly about ancient history of the eradication of Goddess worship, so it is interesting to read a more contemporary account of the rise of the divine feminine as a form of worship. I have always shyed away from organised spiritual activities, except for occasionally organising my own monthly meditation. I am not entirely certain of why this is, except for a desire to remain fluid and ever growing in my ideas and experiemces. I have often fantasised about joining with women at the full moon or new moon for sweat lodges and devotion. But I have not. Perhaps it is time to break myself out of the not doing!

A world without borders - a channelling from Master Hilarion

The world is changing... can you feel it? Can you walk the path towards your own freedom, and freedom for all? The world of the future is without borders. You cannot erect a division of any kind in this future world. There can be no 'us' and 'them', for in this world there is only ONE. In this world, your brother and your sister is everyone you meet, and you will love them as you love the child that came from your own body. You will know no idea of separation in this world. It will be impossible to look into the eyes of another and not see your own face. You will treasure those you have never met and you will give up everything for them. You will walk away from your homes, your jobs, your life if it meant the betterment of all humanity. You will not trade in human life to increase your profits. You will not know what it is to profit at another's expense. You will not know yourself and you will be glad for it. You will open the borders and invite All to partake of your feast for you will know that you can only experience nourishment when everyone has a place at the table. You will give willingly of all that you have and you will forget about bank accounts and super funds and retirement packages. Indeed, you will not need to surrender these things for they will be taken from you, to support all life, and you will be joyous with it. The camps will overflow with life as it pours in from every direction to participate in the wealth that was never yours to begin with. But because of your proximity to it you made it your own, and in this world you will recognise your error - that no man, woman, child, animal, plant, mineral should suffer to make you safe. You are safe, eternally, child, in the arms of your creator, who never left you. You will not measure your success by how much you have, but by how much you give, and you will know that nothing you attempt to own can ever really be yours. You shall set the world free by freeing yourself from the illusion of separation and in so doing you will relinquish the old world entirely. There is nothing that you need that is not always there when you need it. Below are two translations of the same poem by Rilke. Rilke, is a 20th century visionary poet, whose stunning and intimate conversations with the divine open a way to a personal relationship with God free of dogma and human intervention. I include both translations, as they are remarkably different and yet both beautiful. This poetry, much like Rumi's, although with very different tone, can be used as a meditation to go inwards towards the divine. Rilke made no claims about his relationship with God, and sought not to provide answers about the question of humanity's relationship to the divine.

Translation 1

God speaks to each of us before we are,
Before he's formed us then, in cloudy speech,
But only then, he speaks these words to each
And silently walks with us from the dark:

Driven by your senses, dare
To the edge of longing. Grow

Reside in the place of peace.

Retreat, always, before moving outwards into the world.

At first this may take time,

but as you learn the skills of Divine Sight - Insight -

You will know instantly where you should be

in any given moment, what steps to take.

Your insight is enormous,

far greater than ordinary human vision could possibly be.

Be not limited by your unwillingness to surrender the darkness

of your human sight.

Close your human eyes and the light is revealed.

You must close your eyes to the world around you

to know the truth of it.

It is all there to be seen, if you are willing to walk,

temporarily, in the darkness.

Like all new vision,

Know that it is God's work,

as the human vision is replaced with Divine Light.

You have a powerful destiny

You feel you lack a destiny so you do nothing. You believe it is fine to do nothing for you are not the chosen one - you were not born a king or a queen, so why struggle to be anything more then the small, insignificant being that you are? How comforting it is when we watch films or read books in which the heroine discovers that she indeed has a destiny, shares a special connection with some higher power that has secretly been guiding her path all along. What bliss to know there is some reason, some purpose to life!

But you look on, separate from that destiny, unaware of the magnificent blueprint you carry in your very being.

If only you could be awoken to your divine destiny this second, this minute! You are the chosen one!

You are the precious child of God sent forth to fulfil the most magnificent of all destinies and in so doing raise the very Earth to the status of Heaven.

You are here with the exceptional task of bringing Heaven to Earth, to know yourself as the bringer of Heaven, to lead all people into the light. This is your special destiny, written in the very core of your being - and you know it!

And yet you turn your back on it, you disbelieve it, you doubt everything about it for the simple reason that this is the destiny of every single being on the planet. How can it be special, how can it be your destiny if it belongs to all? In fact, the very future of humanity depends on every person knowing this truth and living it.

But the illusion of separation clings tightly to humanity - you have been taught to love through fear; you have been taught that what is good for another means you miss out. You have been taught to distrust, be suspicious, feel vulnerable, to doubt that there are enough good things for everyone. One destiny cannot be the same as another because then it is less valuable, or someone else will get there first and you will not be so special - you believe this in all your human fear and foolishness.

Be grateful that others are aware for they are forging the path for you. Be grateful for your awareness for you are the guiding light for others even if you do not know it!

Release the illusion of separation. You are united. There is only one planet Earth and only one life upon it. It is your life. And your life is the most precious and magnificent gift that ever was, for every being upon the earth must know the truth that you are now awakening to for the destiny of life to be fulfilled. Your destiny determines the life of the planet, the universe, the stars, all humanity. Your actions determine the fate of the world.

You are the One, the only One. Do not doubt your power or your worth. Go forth boldly, in full awareness of your awesome destiny and bring forth the new Heaven and the new Earth. You are chosen, from the moment of your birth and your destiny is waiting to be fulfilled.

Bring the light forth. It is your reason for being.

All that you seek is within

Are you listening to your intuition? Are you allowing yourself to be guided? You have a remarkable gift, as does every human being. Are you even aware of it? Do you live your life by it, or do you find this voice, this wisdom from your own divine nature, easy to ignore?

You possess all that you need to make this human journey move with ease and grace, to understand the events of your life, to know when and how to act. The confusion is a choice. You live uneasy and unaware by choice. Ask and it shall be given. Turn your attention to your own divine nature, the source of your truth, the source of light, and there you will find it. No longer do you, nor have you ever required anything outside of yourself.

All the answers you seek are within, and what is more startling is that you are aware of this but it is so easy to turn away from the insight and wisdom you possess inside. And the reason why is simple. If you allow this voice, this guidance to guide your life even for a moment, you will no longer be able to ignore it. And this divine aspect of you, the you that is true, does not accept half measures or fear. The surrender is far more than most people believe themselves capable of. The fear will tell you all sorts of things to stop you from having faith in yourself.

For this is where the faith must reside. Know yourself through silence, through emptiness, so that when the voice of your soul offers its direction you are able to know it as truth. Fear will trick you, tell you a hundred different things, tell you you are foolish and unwise and flaky and unsafe. But the voice that is you, that is God, is a million times clearer. It is the voice of pure light.

So ensure you move ever closer to yourself in your actions. Bring yourself into full awareness of your being, learn the difference between the voice of fear and the voice of truth, and place your faith within. This is your temple, this is your greatest gift and your truest purpose.

Know thyself. And in so doing you will know God.
