I am beginning my posts for this new year with a miracle of sorts.
I want to tell you about Evka and her amazing ability to engage with the unseen matter (or energy around her).
In 2009, it was the 21st birthday of Evka's twin boys. These angel babies had died at birth but Evka wanted to share the celebration of this milestone with her sons, so she and a friend went to their graves. Evka took the boys a drink and some flowers. She placed the cans on each of the boy's graves. Her friend was taking photos on a digital camera.
Evka's friend noticed that in some of the images there was a small circle of light (seen in the first image). It was at quite a distance. Now Evka is very comfortable with the idea of angels and spirits all around her. In fact sometimes she sees them with her own eyes. Instead of ignoring this circle of light, Evka decided to engage and even experiment with it (with love).
Evka has four angel babies in all, so having seen the light in the distance and believing it might be the presence of her sons, she called the light towards her. She asked them to come closer to her. As you can see from the next shot, this is what happened. All four of her angel babies drew close to her.
Next, Evka invited the two 21 year old boys to come forward and have a drink. As you can see in the third photo, they took up her invitation! Finally, the circles of light moved to her body as if in an embrace. You can even see what might be the image of faces in the orbs in the final shot. As you can imagine, this experience was very powerful for Evka. It gave her a connection to her lost children at a most important time.
Since then Evka has experimented with photographing her own home, as well as that of her neighbours. The cirlces of light appear in abundance around her home in the pictures and hardly at all around her neighbours. The orbs also appeared around her dog.
So what is Evka engaging with? Most often, these lights that appear in photos are called orbs. Orbs are conentiously debated. Are they just particles of dust or light? Are they spirits of people who have crossed over or energy passing between us?
For me, the definition is not important, nor really possible. What is remarkable about Evka's story is the way in which she engaged with the orbs and they responded! Her intention and desire brought them to her and moved them as she requested. The importance of this event resides in the way that it reminds us all that we live in a benevolent, energetic Universe which responds immediately to our requests and desires.
